Terms of Use

Last updated 7 July 2026

These Terms of Use set out the rules for using BillingBlox, the free billing-block tool operated by Chargefield Inc. ("Chargefield", "we", "us"), based in Ontario, Canada.

Agreement to these terms

By using BillingBlox you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the tool.

What BillingBlox does

BillingBlox helps you build movie poster billing blocks in your browser and export them as PNG or SVG. It runs on your device - we don't host or store your projects (see our Privacy Policy for details on data).

Your content and uploads

You are responsible for everything you enter or upload - cast and crew names, the opening and legal lines, and any logo or image files. You confirm that you have the rights or permission to use that material, that it does not infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights, and that it isn't unlawful. We claim no ownership of the content you provide or the billing blocks you export - they remain yours, provided you hold the rights to the underlying material.

Acceptable use

Please use BillingBlox lawfully and reasonably. Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service to cause harm, and don't use it to create or distribute unlawful, infringing or misleading material.

Our intellectual property

The BillingBlox application - its design, code, look and feel, and the BillingBlox and Chargefield names and logos - belongs to Chargefield Inc. These Terms let you use the tool but do not transfer any ownership of it to you.

No warranty

BillingBlox is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose, and output may need adjustment. You are responsible for reviewing and proofing any billing block before you rely on or publish it.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chargefield Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising out of your use of - or inability to use - BillingBlox, or your reliance on anything it produces.

Third-party services

BillingBlox relies on a few third-party services and open-source libraries (listed in our Privacy Policy). Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms and policies.

Changes to the tool and these terms

We may update, change or discontinue BillingBlox, and may revise these Terms, at any time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date, and continuing to use the tool means you accept the current Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
